Minerva Project is looking for a Business Development Representative responsible for driving the lead generation of our partnerships. We are on an incredible growth trajectory fueled by the substantial shift in learning needs and the increased demand for meaningful and fundamentally redesigned learning solutions. The Business Development Representative will be responsible for forging new relationships and will report to the Managing Director of Strategic Partnerships.

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with high school partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. In addition, they should think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Identify partnership opportunities through prospecting and creative outreach methods.
  • Develop new relationships to grow business and help the company expand
  • Set up quality presentations
  • Think critically when planning to assure project success
  • Daily activities including phone, video, email, and social outreach
  • Effectively deliver Minerva Project’s value proposition to new prospects
  • Update leads and prospect interaction in CRM (HubSpot) to ensure efficient lead management
  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure overall team goals are met

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years prior sales-related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Motivated, self-starter, team player; ability to work in a high energy sales environment
  • Excellent listening, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work individually and collaboratively within a team environment
