Role Overview

The regional outreach manager will grow our brand awareness across Western Europe, and lead direct outreach through talent identification, partnerships, and awareness-building activities in the region. The position requires 1) dedication to an entrepreneurial environment, 2) ability to manage from strategy to execution, 3) creativity to design novel partnership initiatives, 4) relationship management and engagement with key stakeholders, and 5) the passion and drive to deliver impressive results. The ideal candidate has to be passionate about the future of higher education with a proven record and a desire to build something that will last.

This role requires extensive travel visiting with key constituents across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement undergraduate student outreach activities reaching prospective candidates across the region through direct outreach initiatives, talent identification programs and partnerships with mission-aligned organizations
  • Develop and implement a graduate outreach plan to increase visibility of post-bac programs in professional networks and organizations across the region
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Admissions teams to implement regionally relevant programs to engage prospective students and partners
  • Represent Minerva at regional events and conferences to create better awareness of our programs and educational approach
  • Serve as the primary contact for potential students, parents, counselors, and outreach partners from the region
  • Support prospective students during the application, enrollment and matriculation process
  • Develop relationships with corporations, government agencies, not-for-profit organizations, professional networks and foundations for prospective student outreach activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top university
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated success connecting with key constituencies, including:
    • High achieving high school students (aiming for highly selective universities)
    • Parents, educators (teachers), counselors, key education opinion leaders
    • Regional and global corporations, not-for-profits, government agencies, educational institutions
    • Education foundations and scholarship organizations
    • Professional networks
  • Understanding of and connection to the student outreach and admissions world
  • Marketing execution experience across the region’s relevant channels and platforms
  • Background in fast-paced business (start-up) and education (mission-driven) environments
  • Excellent and persuasive presenter both in large groups and more intimate settings
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Passionate about improving higher education and excited about reimagining the university experience
