The Organization

Minerva is a premier educational institution intentionally designed for future leaders, innovators, and global citizens. Minerva was founded by Ben Nelson in 2011, with the mission to nurture critical wisdom for the sake of the world. The following year, the Minerva Schools were established in an alliance with KGI, a member of the prestigious Claremont Consortium. Built upon the best traditions of the liberal arts and sciences, Minerva has developed an entirely new approach to student learning and seeks to use this system to inspire higher educational reform.
