The Creative Group is part of the Experience Team, which is led by the Chief Experience Officer (CXO) and also includes the Marketing, Regional Outreach, Student Experience, and Professional Development functions.
The Visual Designer will be responsible for creating exceptional design work — from concept through implementation — at a very high standard, in a variety of media and touchpoints with an emphasis on digital media.
As a full-time designer in the Creative Group, you will partner closely with the Creative Director and the Design Lead, as well as other members of the organization to design and produce imaginative solutions that advance our business objectives, reinforce the Minerva brand, and connect with multiple audiences — from prospective and current students, parents, and counselors to institutional partners and investors to internal teams.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about brand, communication, interaction, and experience design, with exceptional graphic design skills, an ability to develop unconventional, conceptually-driven solutions, a keen attention to detail, and a collaborative work style.
You will be responsible for developing design digital and some print media, including collateral, presentation graphics, and responsive web design; generating multiple directions for new concept work; creating identity designs for new initiatives; helping to conceive and create video and motion graphic work; contributing to environmental and event design programs for students and prospects; creating information design for recruitment, admissions and academics; and reinforcing the Minerva brand identity across touchpoints.
